Beauty of Nature: Capturing the Essence of City Lights

Beauty of Nature is a photographic work that showcases the beauty of city lights in a wide-angle landscape format. To realize this design, Kristanto utilized the Canon 5D Mark III Camera with a 16-35mm F2.8 LII lens. The camera settings were carefully adjusted to capture the perfect shot, with a shutter speed of 1/450 sec, aperture of F2.8, focal length of 35mm, and ISO of 1600.

Post-processing played a crucial role in enhancing the final images. Kristanto employed Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop CC to fine-tune the brightness, curves, levels, contrast, exposure, and other elements. The result is a series of photographs that truly encapsulate the beauty of nature's city lights.

Creating such breathtaking images requires not only technical expertise but also a deep understanding of the camera tools and composition. Kristanto's dedication to his craft is evident in the meticulous research he conducted to find the perfect locations for his project. He sought inspiration from various sources, including Google and fellow photographer friends.

One of the challenges Kristanto faced was adapting to the culture and people of the places he visited. This required him to immerse himself in the surroundings and establish a connection with the environment to capture the true essence of each location.

Beauty of Nature has garnered recognition in the design community, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in Photography and Photo Manipulation Design in 2016. This prestigious accolade is a testament to Kristanto's outstanding creativity and ingenuity in capturing the beauty of city lights through his unique perspective.
